After growing up in his family’s South Florida real estate development and operation business, Dan Bartell founded Bartell & Company Real Estate in 1982. He has over 30 years experience buying, selling, building, owning, leasing, and managing properties. This broad experience gives him a unique 360-degree perspective on real estate transactions, projects, and portfolios few others can match.
In the late 1980s and early 1990s Dan formed, co-owned, and managed Venture Group, where he co-developed an asset management and brokerage portfolio of 650,000 s.f. in high-rise and mid-rise properties in Cherry Creek, the Denver Tech Center, and Lakewood’s Union Boulevard corridor. He then went on to help reinvigorate Fuller & Company’s office and office-warehouse business. In 1995, Dan reestablished Bartell & Co. and co-founded Bartell Meitus Real Estate.
Dan has handled transactions for diverse clients including Wells Fargo Wealth Management, Mellon Bank, Karsten Realty Advisors, HealthOne, Colorado State Board of Land Commissioners, Jordan Perlmutter & Company, AT&T Merlin Hot Line, a Holiday Inn Express franchisee, Gart Properties, and Rose Hospital.
He holds a B.A. in Urban Economics from the University of Florida, and maintains a Florida Class “A” general contractor’s license.
